So I’m not NEW to 3D in Adobe Photoshop CS6 but I am new to the whole idea of 3D. Up until now I’ve only done 3D with text. Time to step my game up and start making SHAPES with 3D and then COMBINING them to make 1 3D object. 3D Shapes to create an artistic scene that can be used for anything later. Here’s what I came up with:

Saw a really cool post, shared it on FB, my friend saw it and TOLD me to make her one =D sounded like fun so here’s a bit of Designer See, Designer Do:
I had fun piling on the shadows and highlights along with some lighting and blur effects to try and give some space. I also wanted to keep in-mind it’s a Desktop Wallpaper. I wanted to leave room for her desktop icons.
I’ve been waiting for WEEKS+ to try out the new Pattern Maker in Adobe Illustrator CS6… Kinda bitter that as soon as I learned the old way, Adobe made pattern making super easy. Here is an example of my first pattern in Ai CS6:
