NSL WEEK 297- Adobe Photoshop “Vanishing Point Filter Mock-Up”

Did you know there is a Vanishing Point Filter in Adobe Photoshop? Do you know how to use it? Well I knew it existed, but I didn’t really use it often. Now that I’m learning new uses for it, I might go to it more.

Check out the video above to learn how to use this filter for mock-ups.

Thanks to Carlos Garro for showing me how it’s done!

I think this technique is great for mock-ups because Photoshop will save the Perspective Grid so you can use it on future projects.

Vanishing Point Filter

To find this feature, go into the Filter Menu and find Vanishing Point…

Edit Perspective Plane

Here I’m editing the Perspective Plane to match my template.

Transform Artwork

You can transform the artwork inside of the Perspective Plane.

Quick mock-up. I would recommend spending more time to refine the Perspective Plane.
