NSL WEEK 284- Adobe Illustrator “Edit Tools Keyboard Shortcuts”

Customize Adobe Illustrator to work the way YOU want it to. This is your design tool so you should be comfortable when working with it.

Check out the video above to learn the basics of editing the keyboard shortcuts for your tools.

This topic might not seem like a big deal to most, but to me, it’s a game changer. Put it like this, if a keyboard shortcut/hot key doesn’t make sense to you…. CHANGE IT =D You have the power! Here’s another example. What if a tool you use frequently, doesn’t have have a shortcut/hot key? You have the power to make it happen. Sometimes I have different keyboard settings for a specific workflow. The great thing is you can make it as simple or complex as you wish.

To edit your keyboard shortcuts, jump into the Edit Menu and scroll down towards the bottom of the list.

Think of this as the control center for your keyboard shortcuts.
