NSL WEEK 249- Adobe Illustrator “Convert To Shape: Rectangle”

Convert to Shape Live Effect in Adobe Illustrator

I wanted to show you guys how this effect works, so I figured I’d show you how I use it in practice. It’s a cool effect but if you see it in action, I’m hoping it’ll inspire you in your workflow.

There are many uses for this effect and in this video I’ll show you how to use it in a Vinyl Transfer workflow. It’s a great technique for custom t-shirt printers and team uniform producers.

Adobe Illustrator Shape Options

This is the “Absolute” option. You can define a specific size for you rectangle. This is great for signage, labels, etc.
