NSL WEEK 232- Adobe Photoshop “Library Linked Smart Objects”

You can create assets in Photoshop or Illustrator, save them as Library-Linked Assets and use them in other projects in the Creative Cloud.

Here I’m going to use artwork created in Adobe Illustrator and bring it into Photoshop as a library-linked asset smart object.

Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud

Over on the right, you see a little cloud where you would normally see a page icon. That cloud lets you know this asset is linked.

At this stage of the demo I updated my linked asset and you can see my document keeping up. The embedded smart object did not update because it has no link to the cloud.
