It’s time for MAGIC! =D
Basics for the Magic Wand Tool in Adobe Photoshop.
You can find this tool in the same stack as the Quick Selection Tool.
This is where all the power is! For each use, I make some changes to the Sample Size and Tolerance.
If you leave it set to “Point Sample” the Magic Wand Tool will use the information from a single pixel to determine the selection. In the image above, I have it set to 3 by 3 Average and I clicked in the middle pixel. Even though I clicked on the center pixel, it’s actually looking at the average of all 9 pixels in that gold square.
