NSL WEEK 208- Adobe Photoshop “Magnetic Lasso Tool”

Still working my way down the Tools Panel for Adobe Photoshop:

Like most of the tools, I thought I had it all figured out but I learned a couple things.

****

Magnetic Lasso Tool
Points and Paths for Selections

Once you have it activated, the Magnetic Lasso Tool automatically lays out points and paths to create a new selection.

****

Adobe Photoshop
Options Bar

You can change how the tool works in the Options Bar.

****

Adobe Photoshop
Width Cursor with Caps Lock

This week I learned about the Width option. In the image above, I increased the width size to speed up the selection process.

****

Adobe Photoshop
Frequency at 100

A higher frequency will result in many more anchor points.

****

Adobe Photoshop
Frequency at 0

A lower frequency will result in less anchor points.
