N.S.L: WEEK 185 – Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 “Rotate and Duplicate”

Old school Adobe Illustrator stuff but MAN is it helpful.

If you’re a Karate Kid fan, this is sanding the floor. I used to look at this like “So, I can make a flower, wow.” but it’s more than that. If you get this down, you can make more complex shapes and speed-up your workflow.

Rotate Tool (R)

You can activate the rotate tool by clicking on it in the tools panel or by hitting the “R” key on your keyboard.

Rotate Menu

The best way to bring up the rotate menu is by Option Clicking on your axis. You can also bring it up by double clicking on the rotate tool.

Best Thing I Learned:

If you want to duplicate objects and rotate them around an object, use

360/# of objects
