This new feature goes by several different names. If you’re looking for it on the Adobe site, it’s called a Flame Scripted Pattern. I’ve also heard it called a Flame Generator but I’m going to refer to it as a Flame Filter because it’s found in the Filter menu .

I don’t see this as a tool that I’m going to use on all of my projects but I am excited about it because I wanted to do this when I was using Photoshop version 5 =D I guess you can say that the rookie in me is super excited about this Adobe Photoshop magic.

When it comes to this panel filled with controls, I’d recommend just playing around with them all. I like to push the controls to the extremes so I can have a better idea about what they actually do.
