N.S.L: WEEK 152 – Adobe Photoshop CC: “Reveal All: Seamless Pattern”

Reveal All!!! Not a new feature in Adobe Photoshop. Not a complex feature. This is a quick lil helper that comes in handy from time to time. I didn’t even know it EXISTED =D Now I’m glad I learned about it.

Reveal All found in the Image Menu of Adobe Photoshop

The basics of it is that if you have some pixels that are present outside of the document bounds, Reveal All with expand your document until All Pixels are revealed.

Watch the video above to see how I used this feature.

Seamless Pattern created with the help of the Reveal All feature.

I’ll show you 2 quick uses for this feature. In NSL wk. 150, I created a distressed pattern but I had to create a large document to use it. Here I’m going to show you how to create a seamless patter with the help of Reveal All. The reason the seamless pattern works is because we are mirroring the edges. If you do any clean up with the Spot Healing Brush, do not clean up the outer edges. Only clean up the centers to ensure the pattern can blend into itself.
