N.S.L: WEEK 133 – Illustrator CC 17.1: “Custom Tools Panels” New Feature

Creative Cloud users!!! We got some new toys to play with =D

The release of Adobe Illustrator CC 17.1 brings in a list of exciting new features. This week I focused on a feature that wasn’t as exciting but it’s probably my favorite! I’ve been wanting this feature for a long time =)

New Feature in Adobe Illustrator for Creative Cloud
This is how you create a new Custom Tools Panel.

In order to create a new Tools Panel, go to the Window menu at the top and find “Tools” as shown above. When you choose that option, you will be given a window that allows you to give your new panel a custom name. The new panel is very basic and you add in the tools you need.

This window allows you to manage your Tools Panels

You also have a panel to manage your Custom Panels. In here, you have to options of copying an existing panel, renaming a panel, and deleting a panel.
