N.S.L: WEEK 99 – Adobe Photoshop CS6: “Keyboard Shortcuts” Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E

This Never Stop Learning post is about Keyboard Shortcuts in Adobe Photoshop CS6 Staring a function that can ONLY be accessed through a keyboard shortcut.

Photoshop Shortcut

This combination of keys “Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E” makes a merged Copy (Layer) of all your visible layers and places that layer above the layer you currently have selected. It’s actually called “Stamp Visible” but I wanted to be a lil more descriptive.

It’s a great way to “Flatten” your image… without completely flattening it!!! When I tutor, I focus on keyboard shortcuts and hot-keys A LOT. This shortcut is one that I can point to and show the power that keyboard shortcuts can hold. This keyboard shortcut is sooo awesome that you can’t even perform this function any other way, BOOM =D

Below is a video showing how the shortcuts works and I’ll be demonstrating other shortcuts as well.
